betrayal

For all the “Givers” out there, myself included, the following post by Neale Donald Walsch hit home for me

“…that betrayal of yourself in order not to betray another
is betrayal nonetheless. It is the Highest Betrayal.”

Combined with the wisdom of Aesop, it caused me to ask myself the the question, what can be more painful than ruining yourself.

I believe God wants you to know… 

“…that betrayal of yourself in order not to betray another
is betrayal nonetheless. It is the Highest Betrayal.

You are not avoiding betrayal by betraying yourself, you
are merely choosing whom to betray. In fact, there is no
such thing as “betrayal.” There is only the truth,
finally spoken.
 
That is not betrayal at all. That is love.
For another, and for yourself.

Can you love that much?

For me the answer was crystal clear, what is worse than ruining yourself?

Is losing yourself!

Becoming someone you’re are not …
